Is it crazy to buy a bag because you ♡ the lining?
Well call me crazy because unique handbag linings have pushed me into purchasing a bag. Of course I select a bag because it’s functional, stylish, and fits with my lifestyle. But I’ve stood in the Hayden Harnett and Lauren Merkin stores and the final catalyst to whipping out my credit card was a fun lining. Similar to polished red soles on shoes, printed handbag linings are like an exclusive chic secret, but people will only see if they reallyget to peek in my bag,
The Neiman Marcus exclusive City Classic Craquele is of course a timeless style and has been on my mind lately. That bronze is so lovely and I love the funky lining.
Has a handbag’s lining ever pushed you to purchase it? Do you have any handbags with fun linings?
I do think that lining is important!!! 🙂 Rebecca Minkoff and Marc Jacobs do a great job in that! 🙂

i have a bag by all the brands u mentioned – but i don’t think the INSIDE ever got me to buy a bag tho .. if there’s anything i’m a sucker for is a BAG .. with the house and saving for a new car – i’m trying NOT to buy a new bag this year – b/c my bags can be pretty pricey and the one i’m DYING for is over 2K – which right now – SO isn’t gonna happen!
Haha! I have bought 2 bags in recent past for their lining as much as their exterior! 🙂 Good to know I am not alone!!!

I don’t think I’d purchase just for the lining but it’s certainly a plus if it’s nice. One of my Chanel bags (black) has a bright pink lining with Chanel logos all over the place – swoon!
Love the “Morning After” bag – so chic and stylish! I have bought trousers and blazers for their fun linings, but never a bag . . . hmmmmm.

I should prolly be embarrassed to admit this, but I’m totally not. I bought a Sorial handbag because of the cheetah print lining. It was all I could see…it literally swept me to the cashwrap!

I get lured in by linings ALL the time! I bought a clutch recently because of it’s bright purple lining and leopard outer. SO cute!

That inside out is so, so brilliant! I’d love for more bags to be like that. I once bought a coat just for it’s cute lining (it was a nice coat too :)), so I hear you on the cute bag lining! The inside is as important as the outside – you have to look at it after all! 🙂
OH MY GOSH girlfriend I do this too! Is this bad or what? I actually bought a fake LV bag only because I loved the liner. I also have an ALDO purse that is bright orange patent; the liner is a shiny bright turquoise. The contrast melts my heart!! Hope you are fabulous beautiful! XO
I bought a pair of shoes the other day because they had pretty flowery linings. I think I liked the inside more than the shoe itself 😉
It’s all about the details so I’m such a fan of fun linings! It’s like a secret only you know that makes you feel a bit giddy inside. That Hayden Hartnett bag is so awesome! I’ve never seen a reversible like that before.
