Fashion Highlight – J. Crew Fall 2013
New York Fashion Week for Fall 2013 is winding down and designers as diverse as Marchesa to J. Crew have presented their collections. While I swoon over Oscar de la Renta gowns and may some day own one, I like that more accessible designers like Michelle Obama’s favorite high street retailer are also making a showing. Designers like DVF and Prabal Gurung highlighted bright prints while J. Crew showcased Moroccan influences in its preppy chic apparel.
Here are a few favorite looks:

…finally catching up with a friend who moved here last year. It is funny how we get caught up with our crazy schedules and miss meeting up with people for months! Well a weekend dinner is always a great time to catch up so it should be fun.

I love the beautiful use of fabric in the J Crew collection, it looks ultra luxurious. The green bag is awesome, love that bright lumo shade.

I’ve come to always expect great things from J. Crew, but the models’ shoes are especially fab in these looks. I hope we’ll be able to shop those in the fall as well!
