How many mirrors do you have in your home?
Oddly enough, I don’t have any besides the ones in our bathrooms. A few friends that have stayed with us have wondered why we don’t have a full length mirror or mirrors in the bedroom or living room. It isn’t that I don’t like mirrors. They are obviously functional for checking out that your look is put together, but also serve as wonderful pieces of decor. I’ve been waiting to find the perfect mirror for our living room, but haven’t found anything I love in the stores nearby. I’m still hopeful!
I love how one grand mirror can serve as a statement piece, but several smaller ones can also be used for subtle decor.
These homes serve as my inspiration and use mirrors beautifully:
I bought a few mirrors including a sunburst mirror and beautiful mirror with a silver frame (but alas both are in NY now). These are gorgeous mirrors too and similar to the ones I bought!

Currently I only have bathroom mirrors and one full length mirror, but I do really enjoy mirrors as decor elements. My sister’s gallery recently began showcasing the work of an artist who uses mirrors as his canvas and the pieces are phenomenal. I definitely want to add one to my next home….
I love mirrors, big ornate ones everywhere 🙂 The best are the giant ones that sit on the floor, so wonderful!! I wish I had them everywhere, though with a small child, they would get broken xx
Hi hun, I am not at all superficial but I don’t think I could do without mirrors in my home, simply just to see If your hair or outfit is in place or that you didn’t put on too much blush, lol. Great decor ideas. Thanks for taking the time out of your busy day to stop by 🙂

Thank you Tiffany! I hope I inspired you a little! I’ll also offer another mirror tip – there are actually some nice mirrors at Home Depot as well and they are priced really well. I really love the selection at One Kings lane, but of course you have to wait to see if a piece you like pops up in a sale!

I’d love a modern baroque mirror too, in silver white. No mirrors in my living room either so far!

I love mirrors and have them everywhere. I would be lost without my full length mirror to put together my outfits! And the one by the door, so I can always check how I look before I leave the house. I also have a lovely vintage one on my vanity. I hope you find your perfect mirror soon!
