Couture clothing is a wondrous class of clothing. Imagine having a team or artisans work countless hours on a single article of clothing. The team members may have special talents and spend years honing crafts in embroidery or appliqué work; these talents are dedicated to the most unique articles of clothing. I can’t help but appreciate couture collections. They are typically over the top and wondrous. But when I looked through the Valentino Autumn/Winter 2019 Couture Collection, I saw not just the wondrous, but the wearable as well. I wanted to include a few pieces for your viewing pleasure below.

Otherwise, this weekend I am…
…recovering and getting ready for the next trip. After I recovered from a nasty cold in NY, I got a new one here. I think I will need to load up on the Vitamin C and Zinc doses. Otherwise we battled jet lag (what a horrendous 3 days) and are planning the next trip. My husband has other work trips planned so we will make a short one to Seoul. I am excited to eat everything and buy all the wonderful skincare products. Suggestions please! What are must buy items there?

Most of this isn’t really my taste, but I do love that light blue gown and the piece with the brown coat and white pants. Those are lovely.
